It is our pleasure to announce that GM1 Christopher Wilderman, USCG was selected as the winner of this year's Aaron Redd Award. Wilderman's essay proved his outstanding achievements in the USCG, his volunteer efforts in the community, and his ability to inspire his Shipmates, only scratched the surface as to his impact on the future. The Award's Committee was faced with the difficult task to review and evaluate all the applications we received this year. The process was lengthy and filled with top-notch contenders. The Board of Directors of the Aaron Redd Foundation wish Chris the very best in his endeavors at the American Military University and in the United States Coast Guard.
